Tighten and Tone Thursday- Calf raises

We did a 5K for Thanksgiving.  It has become a tradition the last few years.  The next day always reminds me how much I need to work on my calf muscles.  They get very sore.  I love the way tone calf muscles look.  One way to work on your calf muscles is to do calf raises.  While standing, lightly hold onto something stable (chair, counter, etc) and raise yourself up onto your toes.  Hold it for 5 sec and slowly lower.  You can do these on the stairs for a little more challenge.  I like to do them while waiting for things in the microwave or to finish cooking on the stove.  Its a great way to sneak in a little extra toning without extra time.
