Tighten and Tone Thursday-Tacking that Pooch

Oh the pooch.  You know, Ladies.  Its that little spot under your belly button that never seems to be flat.  Its the first thing to pop out that time of the month or after a night a drinking/eating.  We affectionately call it the pooch.  We hate it!  Lower abs are the hardest for women to get.  Especially women who have had a baby.  Our bodies just aren't built for it.  The only exercise I've found that seems to help flatten out my lower abdomen is reverse crunches.  I lay flat on my back with my legs together and extended.  Then, I raise them to 90 degrees.  Next, I press my heels up towards the ceiling bringing my lower back off the floor.  Finally, I slowly lower to the start position.  My training has me doing several variations of these, but I have been doing the basic ones on and off for years.  Give them a shot and let me know how those abs feel the next day.  Shoot for 3 or 4 sets of 15 and build up to 3 or 4 sets of 20.
