Mommy Monday-Dear Winter Cold...I hate you.

The little one and I are sick.  We have our first winter cold.  Symptoms include stuffy nose and head congestion, coughing, sore throat, and fussy/exhausted.  This makes staying motivated and healthy enough to workout a challenge.  I toughed it out over the weekend before it hit me hard and was able to knock out a great spinning class.  Today was a full cardio and leg day.  The little guy is feeling so much better.  I was able to put him in the daycare and gave my workout a shot.  I pulled through, even took little man to the lake to feed the geese (the ducks are long gone) and did my whole leg workout.  Yup, supermom!  Now, I'm just drained.  I'm hoping the sweating it out will help.  Since I started a regular workout and healthy eating habit, my immune system has been great.  Then, I had a baby.  I've been sick twice this last year.  Once with a bad case of the flu that hit all three of us and now this.  I'll be enjoying some homemade skinny chicken pot pie soup for dinner and going to bed early.  Any helpful tips to stay healthy this winter?
