Recharging

I took a week off not only from my diet monitoring but from blogging as well.  I went to visit family in NJ with my little one and we had a great time.  Traveling with a toddler is exhausting!  While I threw my usual eating habits out the window this week, I did try to stick to my workouts.  Without a gym to get my cardio in, I ran outside.  I am not an outdoor runner by any means.  The track I ran was up hill half way and down hill the other half.  After 30min, I felt like I was going to fall over.  Two days later, I'm still sore and beat up.  My usual cardio workout today was a struggle to say the least.  Tomorrow, I start a three week challenge to get back on track.  I'll be monitoring my calorie intake and pushing my workouts to the next level for two weeks.  The third week will be a transition week.  I'm anxious to get started.  Planning is half the fun for me.
